If you visit Niagara Falls, New York, be sure to check out Orin Lehman Visitor Centre, which has a set of terrific educational displays on the lower level. I was especially interested in the geological information.
When I was a girl, my Brownies troop (😊) took a field trip to Niagara Falls. I have a strong memory of standing behind a sheet of water, and I’ve never been able to figure out where exactly that was. The visitor center answered this question: it was at the Cave of the Winds in Niagara Falls State Park (NY), behind Bridal Veil Falls, on the American side!
The exhibit on power generation is fascinating as well.
Orin Lehman Visitor Center is museum no. 57 in my #100museums challenge (see 100 Museums Challenge).
